Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment (CADT)

Program Description

The Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment offers multiple levels of care for substance abuse treatment services for adolescents and adults. Service include walk-in Suboxone inductions and assessments, medical cannabis certifications, comfort medications, Naltrexone for alcohol or opioid use disorder, telehealth, referrals to treatment, comprehensive medication management assessments, and detox/withdrawal management services, outpatient and residential services. Detoxification/Withdrawal Management

Walk-ins are welcome and open 24/7.  This is a 40-bed unit, medically managed sub-acute detoxification and withdrawal management from alcohol and all drugs.  24-hr medical monitoring of patients by RNs, LPNs, and other clinical staff,  Initial assessment completed by nurse upon admission, Substance use disorder treatment with medications for alcohol use disorder, opioid use disorder, stimulant use disorder, sedative use disorder, and kratom use disorder,  Admissions for pregnant persons, civilly committed persons, those looking to abstain from use, the uninsured, the unhoused, and those with complex medical conditions, Screening for and Comprehensive Assessment for substance use disorders,  Referrals to appropriate SUD treatment services, mental health services, economic assistance, social services, prenatal care and other health care services, and more case management connections with community partners,  On site provider visits for acute care and/or chronic disease management, Prescriptions for medications related to substance use disorder upon discharge to treatment or home,  MN Sure or other insurance related assistance,  Peer Recovery Support services.

Walk-in inductions are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or by appointment. Our OBOT program offers the following services: Buprenorphine, Vivitrol/oral naltrexone for alcohol use disorder and/or opioid use disorder, Sublocade injection for opioid use disorder, Nicotine replacement prescriptions (patches/gum/lozenges/etc), Medical cannabis certification, Staffed hours for walk-in inductions, bridge prescriptions, comfort medications for clients not needing/wanting detox/WDM, and H&Ps for detox/WDM clients for ease of follow up care

FREE services to MN residents. Groups are held Monday and Tuesday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. both in-person or virtually. There is an alternative Thursday evening group offered from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. that is virtual only.
